Missing Aleenta already!

by roniel

would you wonder why I would say that I miss the hotel we stayed when we were in Phuket! this is the view of the corner of my room… and yes… its 270 degrees sea view! every morning I would just wake up and jump straight into my private pool – swim while having the sea breeze…

Kirikayan Villas @ Koh Samui

by roniel

One of my recommendations of where to stay at Koh Samui… my whole experience during our stay was great! nice staff and the hotel itself is really super nice! We were quite lucky that it didnt rain too much during our visit given that we went during the rainy season but it ended quite well!

a short break in Cheung Chau Island…

by roniel

sunny weather, fresh air and enjoying the break with your love one!  everytime i go to cheung chau, i always go to this family owned restaurant where they serve my favorite drink – ice cold fresh lemon orange juice! the best drink in summer! I’m dont remember the exact name of the restaurant’s name… but its on the left side of the island (haha… not really good with names…)

a sunny day at sai kung

by roniel

what a great memorable day to end the summer – a boat trip in sai kung on such a great afternoon! it is always a popular event to have a boat trip during the hot summers of Hong Kong! this is where friends and colleagues gather for drinks and water sports! everybody forgets about the trouble they have in mind and just drink and have fun – this is how to enjoy life!

of course – its always very IMPORTANT that we have enough drinks for such wonderful gatherings!

the Palace, bangkok

by roniel

I got an afternoon to visit the Grand Palace and to have a chance to glance through the previous home of the King. the whole palace was really very beautiful and we could even see the marvelous architecture. I was amazed with how the thai’s choice of colors – really colorful. I also really liked that the tourists would show their respect and wear long pants and the ladies would wear clothes that also cover the arms and legs – it was quite hot that day so wearing long pants was really quite hot.

I must say that the matching gold with plenty of colors does match the buildings and even makes it sort of mysterious feeling as well as having a ‘grand’ feeling. I would definitely visit the palace again when I visit Bangkok next time~

the streets of bangkok

by roniel

had another great trip in bangkok. enjoyed myself with spa and just wondering around the streets in bangkok. tried their monorail called BTS and find that it is really the best way to go around the city – taxi is very cheap – but the traffic is just unbearable.

i was on my way to the palace and found this hawker on the street selling ice-cream. it was very hard to resist. the funny thing was after buying the ice-cream for myself, a few foreigners came and asked me what flavor it was – i guess my face expression made the coconut flavored ice-cream attractive 🙂

ferry ride: from Wan Chai to TST

by roniel

Another day to take my partner out and take some photos! Today I’ve decided to take photos of Hong Kong’s best ride! The FERRY route from Wan Chai to TST! This 10-minute ride has the best views of both HK Island and Kowloon – there is no doubt about that! As a person living on the HK island – I find it sometimes quite troublesome to cross to Kowloon on the weekends since I always think you could find everything without crossing the tunnel – but that concept has changed especially when my wife family lives in the New Territories. I have crossed the harbor more times in this 2 years than my whole life living in HK.

Well, all I can say now is that I enjoy crossing the harbor via this Ferry:)

Hope the government won’t tear this pier too! (The HK Govt loves tearing down everything that people like) – I guess that’s the trend!
